COPYWRITING INTERNSHIP

JUNE 2021-DECEMBER 2021

During my time as a copywriting intern at Code and Theory, an award-winning ad agency based in NYC, I worked on large-scale advertising projects for some of the biggest brands in the world.

AD HEADLINE COPY

I wrote headlines for a digital and print ad for Amazon Advertising’s “Your Brand, Their World” campaign that showed up in prominent advertisement spaces across New York City.

LONG-FORM COPY

I wrote two long-form articles for Amazon Advertising’s corporate blog. Read them below:

  1. How Doritos won over the gaming community by working with Twitch

  2. How to tap into Back to School shopping trends in 2021

  • I worked on Impossible is Nothing, Adidas’s Fall/Winter 21 version of their classic campaign. I helped with copy changes, design decisions, and other back-end work for the internationally recognized campaign.

  • JP Morgan needed a brand identity and persona for Story, their new Commercial Real Estate digital platform designed to assist landlords with rent management and create a space for knowledge sharing related to the real estate and the property management industry.

  • I wrote a long-form article for the platform about apartment turnover rates and how to streamline the tenant-changing process for apartment owners (only accessible to Story account holders).

SMART SPACES: Intern Project

Four interns were tasked with a special project of creating a fully animated video explaining Smart Spaces, a curated content piece published on DECODE, C&T’s dynamic newsletter platform. We were in charge of everything from scriptwriting to animation. The final video was posted across all of C&T’s social media platforms.

Animation: June Lee and Alex Turner
